WANT TO KNOW ABOUT PAN-AADHAAR LINKING

Overview:

Your Pan Card will become inoperative if you will not link the Pan Card with Aadhaar Card. Once PAN becomes inoperative, it will not be possible to furnish, intimate, or quote the PAN number anywhere. Government has issued a warning to taxpayers whose Pan Card has not yet linked with Adhaar Card. The income tax department has issued the same warning from their official Twitter account.

Why so Important:

Here is a list of reasons that make the PAN-Aadhaar linking process so crucial.

  1. By completing this process, you can avoid the danger of getting your PAN card deactivated.
  2. Having a non-operational PAN card means you cannot file your Income Tax Returns.
  3. You can get access to a list of comprehensive details about all taxes charged against your Unique Identification Number for future reference.
  4. With successful PAN-Aadhaar linking, authorities no more have to tackle the hassles of multiple PAN cards issued for a single taxpayer.

Time Limit Extension:

From March 31, 2022 to March 31, 2023 is last date of Linking. Don’t delay, link it today!
